Kat and the Kodachromes, Cruise Control, Makin' Out

Kat and The Kodachromes is a genre-fluid four piece that never strays too far from its folk rock foundation. Jangly riffs, an occasional honky tonk twang and a pinch of surf sensibilities are sprinkled throughout. Subjects range from personal to political, moods dashing between bittersweet, longing, and sometimes cynical. An extension of Kat Kirschmann's solo singer songwriter project, the line up has grown and evolved while the sound remains familiar yet unpredictable, unique while relatable. Kat and the Kodachromes currently live and play in the Twin Cities, MN.
