Off With Their Heads -Now based in rural Illinois, OWTH has had a somewhat stable lineup featuring multiple different friends on drums (from old members past to new friends met along the way.) With Kevin Rotter on bass to support the 15-year anniversary of the beloved record “In Desolation” all across North America throughout 2025. The band is Ryan but acts within a collective of other musicians who keep things fresh and interesting. OWTH have grown a wide and ambitious fanbase due mostly to Young’s wit and lyrics. Often pinned as a ‘punk band’, Young’s reach exceeds any specific genera. His influences are stretched and varied and in some ways unpredictable. OWTH have been cornered into a genera they painted themselves into, but that’s not wholly who they are. They are a band’s band, pushed forward by a remarkable drive that most musicians I know wish they had - and enough experience to know if they want something done right they better do it themselves.
SMUG LLC - There are many things a person can do with their time on earth. The possibilities have never been more abundant. You can do anything with your life.
But, life - what is it exactly? Consciousness? My houseplant sitting just under my window here is alive, but does it have a life? My plant does not fear the tax man. My plant is not worried about deadlines. Neither is the cat laying in the shade under my car. The cat has a life though, I’m sure of it. The cat lives but the plant is merely alive. SMUG is a project by songwriter Drew Thomson. He is known for the bands Single Mothers and The Drew Thomson Foundation. During the first few years of 2020 - when you couldn’t have band practice and all the shows were cancelled, the seeds of this project were planted. This is what has grown. Influenced by the likes of Snapped Ankles, Atari Teenage Riot, Sleaford Mods, Guided By Voices and others, Thomson is writing loop and hook songs based in lyrical gravitas that you’ll either get or you won’t. Song about filling pillow cases full of decongestants and cats hissing on the sidewalk living their life.
Panel - A new alternative band sure to be popular with fans of 120 minutes. Songs by Annie Sparrows (The Soviettes, Green/Blue, Bermuda Squares, Awesome Snakes) ft. members who played in The God Damn Doo Wop Band, Strait A's (Kat Naden), Notches, Visual Learner (Zac Mayeux), Lutheran Heat, Lifestyle Shakes (Justin Nelles
