Join The Cultural Wellness Center, Midtown Greenway Coalition, and Lake Street Lift for a moving Juneteenth journey through Minnesota’s untold Black history.

Event Highlights
9:00 AM – Juneteenth Freedom Ride
Slow Roll from Venture Bikes through historic landmarks, including Fort Snelling, with guided storytelling.

11:30 AM – General Orders No. 3 Reenactment at CEPRO Park
Honoring the historic Juneteenth proclamation in Galveston, Texas.

Freedom Walk to Midtown Global Market

12:00 PM – Live Theater: “We Claimed the Soil: An Interview with Dred and Harriet Scott”
A powerful 30-minute performance featuring Zora Neale Hurston as interviewer.

1:30 PM – Community Meal & Reflection
Celebrate freedom, resilience, and shared purpose.
