About the event

July Queer Contra
We have a traditional contra dance this month, with Summer Shay as caller and Speed Dial as band! We're excited to have Summer, the original founder of Twin Cities Queer Contra, back this month.

Monday, July 14, 2025
Lesson from 7:30-8pm, Dancing from 8pm to 10:00pm
Admission: $5-15 sliding scale, cash preferred and venmo available
Location: Eagles #34, 2507 E. 25th St, Minneapolis, MN

People under 16 dance for free. This is to keep the dance affordable for families and promote an intergenerational space.

We ask that you either rapid antigen test in the 2 hours before the dance and bring a picture, or wear a high-quality mask (N-95, KN-95 or similar). Thanks for being awesome and keeping us all safer!
