Join us for a presentation and interactive evening led by Milwaukee-based organizer Garrett Bucks, author of The Right Kind of White (Simon and Schuster). How do we fight against authoritarianism? What makes resistance effective, and where have we seen it work before?

About SWAE Gatherings: Every month, Southwest Alliance for Equity hosts a gathering that is open to everyone. We believe that by increasing civic engagement in our community, we can effect political change. SWAE believes Minneapolis must strive for: communal well-being, equity, integration, health & safety for all, where opportunities and resources are shared and we repair injustice.
