Colony Collapse Disorder: Closing Event

Colony Collapse Disorder is the phenomenon that occurs when the majority of worker bees in a beehive disappear, leaving behind the queen and a handful of nurse bees to care for the remaining larvae. But hives cannot sustain themselves without workers, and eventually the food runs out and they die.

This exhibition includes 2-D and 3-D artworks by 25 regional artists exploring subjects related to social disorder, societal collapse, space exploration, collectivism, science fiction, colonialism, workers withholding their labor, and (of course) bees and beekeeping.



SOFT OPENING ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 16 from 5-9 PM

There will be a soft opening on the evening of Wednesday, July 16 from 5-9 PM at ALTR Gallery



CLOSING NIGHT RECEPTION: SATURDAY JULY 19 from 6-10 PM

There will be a closing night reception on Saturday, July 19 from 6-10 PM at ALTR Gallery
