Check It Out Chess Fall Tournament

MPS students of all chess playing abilities are invited to join us for a fun, free event! The fall Check It Out Chess Tournament is on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Green Central Elementary (3416 4th Ave. S.).

This fun, low-stakes chess tournament is geared toward players of all skill levels and is open to K-12 students districtwide. Whether your child is a seasoned competitor or brand new to the game, all learners are encouraged to participate. Players will represent their school teams, and both individual and team trophies will be awarded for K-3, 4-6 and 7-12 grade sections. Lunch for participants and other children will be provided.
