Bring any music by a Minnesota artist in a physical form (CDs, records, cassette tapes), and get a free drink from Surly Brewing while you enjoy live music from local Minnesota musicians. There will also be a book signing with music writer Andrea Swensson.
Why: DEMO is building The Minnesota Music Archive - a hub for celebrating and preserving Minnesota's music history. The archive will feature music releases from Minnesota artists across genres, eras, and ages. Follow along on social media @mnmusicarchive
This event is sponsored by DEMO, Twin Ignition Start-Up Garage, Surly Brewing, Northeast Bank, Hamline University, Hennepin Arts, Minnesota Sound Museum, Fletecher Ice Cream, Minnesota Historical Society and more.
