A Guide to a Revolution is a tool for Blackbird Revolt to help build skills and knowledge within the community. We believe these skills are crucial elements of continuing to organize and build community. We intend to create a space where folks can walk away with skills and knowledge that was relevant, is relevant, and always will be relevant.
We are hosting 3 workshops this year:
Wed, August 6 at 11AM: Know Your Rights (at Blackbird Revolt)
Wed, August 6 at 6PM: Zine Making(at Black Garnet Books)
Wed, August 13 at 1:00PM: Food Justice (at Blackbird Revolt)
Wed, August 20 at 11AM: Mending Skill Share (at Blackbird Revolt)
This year is a pilot program and its success will determine the scope and content for subsequent years. As we build, we hope to be able to sustainably offer these workshops without cost.
