Many people are enthusiastic about birdwatching, enjoying the experience of feeding birds and improving their bird identification skills! We invite you to participate in an engaging program featuring stunning photos taken by members of the Canton Audubon Society. Prepare to embrace the joy of birding, a hobby that is inclusive for all! Whether you’re an experienced bird enthusiast or simply interested, this program will enhance your appreciation for the incredible birds in our surroundings!

Presenter Charles “Chuck” McClaugherty spent thirty years on the faculty at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio, where he taught ecology and environmental science. During his tenure, he was the founding director of the Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center. Additionally, Chuck recently completed two terms on the board of the Canton Audubon Society. He earned his degree in wildlife biology from Cornell University, where he participated in research on the Peregrine Falcon. Chuck holds an MS in environmental science from the University of Virginia and a PhD in forest ecology from the University of Wisconsin. He also spent a year as a Fulbright fellow in Uppsala, Sweden.
