Goodtime Alibi is a alternative rock band from Fredericksburg, VA. Their high-energy performances have landed them numerous shows at some of the most popular bars and venues in the region. In thier first year as a band they were selected as Finalists in the Jammin Java: Mid-Atlantic Band Battle and most recently had the opportunity to perform at The Anthem with rock legends Collective Soul. Goodtime Alibi continues to make a name for themselves as a touring band with 180+ performances across DC, VA & NC since forming in Summer 22’.

Influenced by classic rock and the sounds of the 90’s. Powerful and honest lyrics, accompanied by a melodic guitar style and tight grooves of the rhythm section create a captivating rush of emotions to the most unsuspecting listener. The lineup includes Bobby Barber (Vocals, Guitar) and Chase Gilbert (Drums) backed by a collection of talented musicians from the region.

Goodtime Alibi released their debut album "Palm of Your Hand" in 2023. Their recent singles “Sunshine”, “You Got My Attention” & “Slow Burn” have gained significant traction on Spotify. Currently the band is touring regionally and working toward releasing their sophomore album.
