Makers & Shakers Art Party: Urban Sketching

Urban sketching is a unique way of capturing a specific time and place, and a fun way to connect with other sketchers of all ages and abilities. Join us for an evening of urban sketching with an introduction to the basics of sketching from observation on location. We will be sketching with a pen, and will have other drawing & watercolor media available to explore color washes and to highlight details. Drawing paper, ballpoint pens, and various other drawing media will be provided. Be prepared to sketch outdoors if the weather cooperates. We’ll bring the bug repellent!

Class size 12

Level Novice and above

Student Supply List If you have a sketchbook, a favorite drawing pen, and sketching materials of your own, bring them along.

Tuition $5 (Project fee waived for middle and high school students!)
