West Somerset Mineral Line: Guided Walk (2 miles)

Discover more about the West Somerset Mineral Line with Phil Gannon. For thirty-two years, Phil worked as a chartered building surveyor in West Somerset until retiring. He has assisted the ENPA with conservation and project work and was formerly a member of the Exmoor Mines Research Group.

This 2 mile walk will include a 1-hour stroll to look at Langham engine house, then a two hour walk down the steep miners’ track to see the Bearland Flue and other features connected with iron mining. If time allows, we may visit Burrow Farm engine house or Kennisham Hill.
