Home Education Creator Club - Wire Sculpture

In this workshop, we’ll visit artist Mel Deegan’s studio to explore her stunning wire-based sculptures. Afterward, we’ll head back to the creative space where you’ll have the chance to try your hand at drawing with wire to create your own animal sculpture. We’ll wrap up the session by crafting a sturdy plaster base to support your design.

The Cafe at East Quay is available for parents to meet during the session. The session is suitable for all ages but there will be differentiation set within the tasks and activities for the different ages and abilities. Please note if your child is under the age of 8 they will need an adult to stay with them for the duration of the session. The workshop will be a bit messy so please wear old clothes!
