もう再来週には9月なのに秋の気配どころか酷暑とゲリラ豪雨が続くこの頃ですが、みなさまはいかがお過ごしでしょうか。
さて、2001年創立の「東京多色文化の会」（通称ポリカル）ですが、自らの文化的多様性を高めつつ、年齢、言語、性別、職業、階層を超えて「異なるもの」と成長する多色文化を目指し24年間継続しています。世界の分断が進行する今ほど、ポリカル的理念が必要とされていると思われます。
混迷が深まる世界と日本の状況ですが、次回のポリカルチャーのレクチャーイベントは「古代史ハンター/コトダマミュージックプロデューサー」として大活躍の坂井洋一さんをゲストに、日本という国の起源とその成り立ちをテーマに開催します。
いま「ジャパンファースト」等のスローガンに代表されるポピュリズム的言説が拡声される傾向にありますが、果たして日本という国と我々の心の中に潜む「愛国心」を形成する原風景のようなものはどうやって作られてきたのでしょうか。その起源はどこにあり、どんな裏付けがあるのかなど、古代史ハンターの坂井先生の知見を借りつつ一緒に考えたいと思います。日本と日本を取り巻く世界視点で日本の起源と将来に思いを馳せてみましょう。初参加の方も大歓迎です。皆さんとの出会いを楽しみにしてます。

演題：「多色文化の日本～日本のはじまりはシュメールとエジプト」
・古代史ハンター/コトダマミュージックプロデューサー。茨城県日立市生まれ。慶応大学卒業後、映画会社の松竹入社10年勤務の後､洋画配給会社GAGAなどを経て、現在はフリーの映画プロデューサー兼映画バイヤー。作詞作曲家としても30年余りのキャリアーを持つ。
・近年日本の古代史に興味を持ち追求する過程で、世界はかって一つの文化圏であったことを突き止め､フィールドワークの成果も含め、都内及び全国各地でワクワク古代史セミナーを開いて驚くべき古代世界の真相を熱く語っている。
・代表作は「アワの歌」「いろは歌」「八雲立つ出雲」など。近年はコトダマシンガーの育成にも力を入れている。
・ＣＤ：「作曲家自身が歌うコトダマミュージックのすべて」「コトダマミュージックのすべて～万葉集と百人一首」。

（坂井さんについて）
坂井君とは慶大経済学部の同期で、同じ音楽サークル（慶應同期の竹内まりやも在籍）だったという深い縁。彼の映画＆音楽時代、そして様々な時期にもつかず離れずの関係で、彼の人生の裏表を垣間見てきた。その多彩で多才で豊かな姿に今も変わらず敬意を抱く。彼の一番凄いところは、飽くなき探求心と好奇心。そして弱者へのまなざしだ。
学生時代より知識の深さとコミュニケーション力は卓越していたが、古稀を過ぎた今も以前に増して大活躍の坂井君。今回は古代史ハンターとしてとっておきの秘話を拝聴出来ると思います。

It is already September, but far from any hint of autumn, we are experiencing scorching heat and torrential rains. How are you all doing?
Founded in 2001, the "Club Polyculture Tokyo" (commonly known as "Polical") has been working for 24 years, aiming to foster a polycultural (muti-coloured) society that transcends age, language, gender, occupation, and class while enhancing one's own inner cultural diversity. As the world becomes increasingly divided, we believe that the ideology of "Polyculture" is more needed than ever.
Amid the deepening chaos in the world and Japan, our next lecture dinner event will feature Mr. Yoichi Sakai, a highly successful "ancient history hunter" & "Kotodama" music producer, who will lecture on the origins and formation of Japan as a nation.
Today, populist discourse, exemplified by slogans like "Japan First," seems gaining traction and attention, but I would like to ask ourselves the following: how did the primordial landscape that shapes Japan and the patriotism that lies deep within us emerge? Where does this origin lie, and what evidence does it have ?
We would like to explore these questions together, drawing on the insights of Yoichi Sakai, a professional ancient "history hunter". Let's reflect on Japan's origins and future from a global historical perspective, reflecting on Japan and its surroundings on the global scale.

Title: "Japan's Origins lie in ancient Sumer and Egypt."
- Ancient History Hunter & "Kotodama” (word soul) Music" Producer. Born in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture. After graduating from Keio University, he joined the film company 'Shochiku' for 10 years, then worked for the foreign film distribution company 'Gaga', among others. He is currently a freelance film producer and buyer. He also has a career spanning over 30 years as a songwriter and composer.
- In recent years, he has become interested in ancient Japanese history, and in the process of pursuing it, he has discovered that the world was once a single cultural sphere. He has held exciting ancient history seminars in Tokyo and around the country, passionately sharing the results of his fieldwork and sharing the amazing truth about the ancient world.
- His representative works include "Awa no Uta," "Iroha Uta," and "Yakumo Tatsu Izumo." In recent years, he has also been focusing on nurturing "Kotodama (word soul)" singers.

Yoichi and I were classmates at Keio University's Faculty of Economics, and we were also once in the same music club, The Real McCoys, (our alumnus in the same year and famous female singer, Mariya Takeuchi belonged to the same club). We shared a strong bond.
We were close friends through his film and music years and various other periods. So, in many ways, I have seen various sides of his life. I continue to respect his diverse, talented, and rich personality. His most impressive qualities are his insatiable inquisitiveness and curiosity, as well as his compassion for the disadvantaged people.
Yoichi's profound knowledge and communication skills have been outstanding since his student days, and now that he is over 70, he is almost nearer the perfect state. This time, I am certain you will hear some special hidden stories from his ancient history savvy. Let's have a great discussion about our past and future as humans!
