Join us Sunday, October 26th

@ Golfshoe Music

Bring a synth, bring a friend, BYOB.
--------------------------------------------
We have a stacked lineup this time around, join us in welcoming Gordonswireworks, Palpa Visuals, Animal Guide Audio and Synth Rise!
First we have a visual dream team in the making, Palpa Visuals and Gordonswireworks, golfshoe's resident video wizard, will be demonstrating their wild new collaborative project! If you've kept your eyes open you may have seen some of it in action as part of the last Wired Explorations, Knobcon chillout room, or as part of The Hoot installation at Hearths 'o Phyre (a regional burning man event).
Chicago-based visual artist Palpa Visuals utilizes a mixture of traditional tools and generative AI, working in ComfyUI, Blender, Adobe After Effects, and more to create fresh and exciting visual content that seamlessly blends vector, analog, and 3D elements to create eye catching and inspiring experiences
Next up we have Michael Huber, co-founder of the forthcoming Animal Guide Audio (AGA), for an inside look at a new approach to sound design. This presentation will cover the core design philosophy behind AGA's effects pedals, which are built by modeling the complex patterns of animal communication and movement. Attendees will get an exclusive first listen to early prototypes, all powered by a bespoke, custom-made granular synthesis engine designed to bring these organic concepts to life.
And finally the fine folks from Synth Rise (
https://synth-rise.com/) will be on hand to demonstrate their very cool ADAPT line of modular, adjustable, and infinitely customizable synthesizers stands.
As usual we always want to hear from you fine folks too. Bring your projects to show off, tell us about shows your playing, built a new synth or module? We wanna see it!
------------------------------------------------------
Table space may become limited.
If you have a large setup to accommodate give us a heads up in advance, otherwise first come first serve.
Please bring your own headphones to demo synths with as opposed to monitors, We'll have a PA/Mixer setup if anyone wants to demonstrate anything to the whole group.
We'll also have a projector/hdmi mixer running if anyone has visual equipment to demo.
-----------------------------------------
This is a free ALL AGES event but a 5$ suggested donation to the studio goes a long way towards keeping these running into the future, we truly appreciate all the support we can get folks, cheers!
