You're invited to the 2nd Annual Bronzeville Hour, a special event celebrating a week of arts, culture, and legacy in Milwaukee’s Bronzeville neighborhood. This exclusive “Backstage Pass” experience with Reginald Baylor Studio offers a behind-the-scenes look into the creative journey of one of the region’s most exciting public art projects—a monumental mural honoring the spirit of fashion and community in Bronzeville neighborhoods throughout the Great Lakes.
Enjoy an evening filled with food trucks, local vendors, and the soulful sounds of Doc B with the vibes, creating the perfect atmosphere to celebrate art and culture. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness the artistic process up close and be part of a powerful cultural moment. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments provided.
Able to join us early? Start the evening next door at the African American Chamber of Commerce where The Indigo Project, Reginald Baylor Studio, and the Bronzeville BID wiill host a luxe, fashion-forward art experience starting at 3pm. Inspired by the new relief mural celebrating Bronzeville’s culture and style, guests will create their own custom textiles using carved wood blocks that echo the patterns featured in the artwork. This high-end block printing experience blends fashion, art, and community—and everyone leaves with a one-of-a-kind piece to take home. REGISTRATION REQUIRED and available as an add-on to this event.
Also check out other Arts events in Milwaukee, Food & Drink events in Milwaukee.
