Six years ago, I jumped headfirst into full-time entrepreneurship with .44 cents to my name, a camera, a dream, and a deep love for telling people’s stories through timeless, empowering portraits. What a wild, beautiful ride it’s been, and it hasn’t been without its hardships.
The last two years, especially, have tested every part of me. As a solo parent to two incredible kids and being the sole person running Jamie Robarge Photography, there have been moments when I didn’t know if I could keep going. Broken equipment, overdue rent, and the weight of doing it all alone made it hard to keep showing up. But I have.
