Run on the One - to the FUNK!

We're excited to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of the Community Arts and Funk Festival with a walk/run to Bronzeville. We'll start and end at the festival grounds, but we'll stop at Honeybee Sage Wellness & Apothecary on MLK in Bronzeville during our walk/run to patronize and support the Black owned business.

All ages are welcome to attend. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Info: The first 30 minutes we'll allow people to get settled into the space and check-in. This will also be a time for introductions so we can get to know each other, learn more about Run Black & Green, and warm up for our walk/run.

Info: Attendees will have the option to walk or run up to 2 miles. The hosts will inform and guide attendees through the route. We will be walking/running to and back from the Marcus Peck Pavilion with a stop at Honeybee Sage Wellness and Apothecary on MLK which is about 2 miles. Attendees will have the option to stop in Honeybee Sage to make purchases.

Info: We'll finish the walk/run with a short cool down, ground ourselves, and enjoy the Community Arts and Funk Festival for those who want to feel the funk!
