Exploring Ephemera in the Max Arthur Cohn Collection

Co-curators Leigh Mahlik and Mirel Crumb will give insight into UWM’s Max Arthur Cohn Collection through an intimate view of selected ephemera. Photographs, diaries, sketchbooks, and letters reveal the complex life of an artist who worked for federal projects, ran a successful graphic art business, and never ceased experimenting with form and media. The event will also be an opportunity to hear about the questions that curators have to consider when developing an exhibition.
