Day of Kuumba
Day of Kuumba: A Celebration of Creativity and Resilience
Thursday, July 25 | 2:00 PM
Free & Open to Families | 123 E State St, Level 4

Join us for our culminating Day of Kuumba, honoring the creative spirit and resilience of our youth. The event will begin with a powerful 30-minute student performance featuring dance, music storytelling, and original works that explore the complexity of resilience and the strength found in community.

Following the performance, guests will view a short gratitude film that highlights the journey, growth, and voices of the young artists throughout the program. We will then transition into a communal meal, a certificate ceremony to honor each participant, and space for final reflections and goodbyes.

Come celebrate the brilliance of our students and the legacy of Kuumba—creativity that builds, uplifts, and transforms.
