County Grounds Park - Invasives Removal 5/9/2025 @9am

Join other volunteers for 2 or 3 hours of removing invasive teasel that is crowding out the bluebird nest boxes. Together we can beautify the park by removing invasives for people and animals!

No experience is needed. Equipment and training will be provided. Bring your favorite gloves (or we have some to loan) and footwear appropriate for possibly muddy spring conditions. Long pants and long sleeves are recommended for teasel removal.

Registration is requested for coordination purposes. Consider bringing your own water container, we will have additional water. There are no onsite restrooms.

County Grounds Park has no formal address, but can be found and navigated to via Apple/Google/Waze Maps searching “Sanctuary Woods Parking”. The square gravel parking lot is 0.5 mile north and west of 87th & Watertown Plank Road (just beyond a paved parking circle). Eventbrite requires an address, but this address only gets you close.
