Year 6 - SATS Week

Parents of children in Year 6 we remind you that the Year 6 SATs tests will be taking place in the week commencing 12th May. These tests are a standard part of the school year and help to measure children's progress in English and Maths.

We understand that this can be a time when children may feel a little extra pressure. Please be assured that we are working hard to support all our Year 6 pupils, both with their academic performance and their overall wellbeing.

Here are a few things that you can do to help your child during this time:

•Ensure good attendance: It's important that your child is in school every day during this week, unless they are unwell.
•Support a good routine: Help your child get plenty of rest, eat nutritious meals, and stay hydrated. A calm and organised home environment can also be beneficial.
•Offer reassurance: Let your child know that you are proud of their efforts and that the SATs are just one way of measuring their progress.
•Communicate with us: If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher.
