The Story of the Little Red Hen

Led by artists Alice Boland-Rhodes and Sarah Hunt, this interactive story telling event invites audiences to help us in creating a retelling of the classic folktale, The Little Red Hen through play and costume!
The event will start with a traditional storytelling. Children can then create their own character masks, before being invited back to be a part of the retelling of the story with costumes and headpieces created by our fantastic artists and led by our narrator, Clio the Cat.
This event is a FREE event.
Suitable for children ages 5+ (based on the size of costumes).
Families with younger children are welcome.
Access to the Windmill is via Nightingale Crescent.
This is an outdoor event so please dress approprately for the weather.
This event is presented by Milton Keynes Arts Centre as part of the Bradwell Windmill Project, supported with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, MK Museum and Milton Keynes City Council.
