Community Volunteering: Himalayan Balsam Bashing

Following our successful Bash earlier in the month, we return to North Loughton Valley at Bancroft Park.

Are you ready to battle the invader? This pretty but pesky plant is taking over our riversides, and we need your help to put it in its place.

Mission: Protect our native plants and wildlife from the greedy invader Himalayan Balsam.

Your role: Pull it, bash it, and restore nature's balance! Whether you're a seasoned balsam basher or a complete beginner, we’d love to have you on the team. No experience is necessary. All you need is some elbow grease and a love of the outdoors.
