KILLARNEY’S SEVENTH DRAG DAY OF 2025 includes an IASCA Sound Off in the Joubert Pits – a fascinating look at the art of noise – and the engineering that it takes to produce a sound louder than a jet fighter taking off, out of a car stereo!
All this at no extra charge, while your favourite local drag racing heroes - and a few from around South Africa – provide a full day of American-style Drag Racing, including our Bracket Racing competition, with huge burnouts and high-adrenalin runs.

Killarney’s Drag Days are all about purpose built drag racers, lightweight bodies fitted with highly modified, insanely powerful engines and huge ultra-soft ‘wrinkly’ tyres.
But there are classes for everything, including superbikes and street cars, so you’re guaranteed a full day of straight-line action.
This is the real deal - American-style drag racing, complete with a 'Christmas Tree' of yellow lights counting down to an explosive launch.
And it’s a FAMILY FESTIVAL with kiddies’ play areas, ice-cold beverages and delicious food (including halaal).
