Suminagahsi ...a beginners class

Suminagashi is a traditional Japanese art form meaning "floating ink" that involves creating intricate, swirling patterns by floating ink on the surface of water, then transferring these designs onto paper or fabric.

Originating in the 12th century, it is considered the earliest form of paper marbling and is often seen as a meditative and mindful practice that connects energy with nature through its flowing, organic patterns
