Our Fungi Futures project is a celebration of fungi's potential to nourish our bodies, minds & wider communities. Our artful activities will promote the transformative power of mushrooms through a "grow your own" ethos, cultivating community, sustainable food & creative connection.
These hands-on community workshops will go beyond practical cultivation skills & include diverse creative activities inspired by the metaphors of fungi. We're planning fun nourishing sessions that bring more mushrooms to community spaces, alongside supporting self-awareness, connection & creative play.
Attend either or both sessions.
Our sessions at Community Orchard are very limited capacity. These sessions open to:
Mycelium Thinking CIC members/volunteers
Community Solutions CIC members
Allotment holders at Dragley Beck
+ ex-centric non-members (this is a MT CIC flavoured term for people such as those with mental health issues, physical health/disability, sensory impairment, learning disabilities, neurodivergence, people from working class backgrounds, people from the LGBTQIA+ community, and people from mixed heritage or other global majority background).
