Do you enjoy target shooting or carrying concealed and want to take your skills to the next level? This is the ideal class for you! Fin Fur and Feather and GOAL are pleased to offer an introductory course in defensive pistol shooting on Saturday May 24th from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

This introductory class is taught by one of the most experienced IDPA instructors in New England, Gun Owners Action League (GOAL) Director of Training and Education, Jon Green. Many who have taken this class return each year to continue improving their shooting techniques or building confidence in their pistol shooting abilities.

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) is the governing body of a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real-life encounters. It was founded in 1996 as a response to the desires of shooters worldwide. Participants will be provided with a solid foundation of skills and knowledge used in the sport of International Defensive Pistol competition with both classroom and live fire exercises.

The class is limited to 10 participants and the registration fee is $150. You do not have to be an expert to participate. Basic skills required and after this class, you will have developed new skill and confidence with your handgun. It also is a fun safe day of shooting.
