"Be a Health Scientist" with GSK and the Maine Discovery Museum

Description:
Join us for an exciting afternoon of health science exploration with the "Be a Health Scientist!" program, in partnership with GSK and the Maine Discovery Museum. This event will feature two hands-on activities:

Be an Athletic Trainer
Members of a sports team are having problems with their knees- learn more about joints and help them find a better training regimen!

Be an Orthopedic Doctor
A hockey player has broke the tibia bone in their lower leg. Design a solution for keeping the broken bone in place while it heals.

Who Should Attend:
Children in grades 2-8 interested in science, health careers, and hands-on learning.
