Join us for a special evening with acclaimed Maine author Monica Wood, known for her award-winning memoir When We Were the Kennedys and her internationally bestselling novel The One-in-a-Million Boy. Her latest book, How to Read a Book, continues her tradition of writing deeply moving and sharply observed stories of family, resilience, and place.

Monica is also a celebrated playwright and a beloved literary voice in Maine and beyond. She’ll be reading from her work, sharing reflections on her writing life, and answering questions from the audience.
