Volunteer Opportunity: Christmas for Children with Walk the Walk Foundation

The Young Philanthropist Program invites all AAWGT Members to volunteer with us on December 18th, 5:00pm - 8:30 pm to help wrap gifts, sort donations, greet families, and load cars with Walk the Walk Foundation! Every hour you give helps ensure that children across Anne Arundel County experience the joy and dignity of Christmas morning.

Walk the Walk Foundation is a nonprofit organization serving Anne Arundel County that focuses on making a difference in the lives of people and communities in need through its Backpacks for Kids, Christmas for Children, and Diapers for Babies programs. They partner with professionals, volunteers, donors, and other nonprofits whose focus fits their mission of creating a cycle of giving within the community.

For this volunteer opportunity, AAWGT will support Walk the Walk’s “Christmas for Children” program, an initiative that, over the past 20 years, has provided holiday gifts to more than 10,000 children whose families would otherwise be unable to afford them.
