“Patch It Up-cycle" w/ Cindy Shaffer

Are you ready to breathe new life into an old favorite? Then join Cindy Shaffer of The Farmer’s Wife for this upcycling workshop at the Gallery on the Square.

The first thing you’ll do is go to your closet and grab a pair of jeans, a skirt or jacket, something you would like to refresh and give new life to. Bring it along to this workshop and Cindy will provide everything needed to turn that old favorite into something fresh, fabulous, and uniquely you!

Whether it’s patching, embroidering, trimming, or distressing, you will transform your piece using the vintage materials provided by Cindy. She’ll also provide embroidery needs and sewing tools to complete your upcycled piece.

This workshop is perfect for creatives of all levels. And with Cindy’s guidance, you’re sure to walk away with some new skills and inspiration to try something else at home!

$25.00 MAAA Members / $30.00 Non-Members

The workshop is held in the upstairs classroom at the Gallery on the Square. Financial assistance from the Jared Sheaffer Scholarship Fund is available for school students if needed. Message or email the Gallery for information.
