Homecoming

Homecoming is a 2-hour workshop up MillCreek Canyon for intergenerational femmes to come together in order to explore the stories that make us, the narratives we create, and draft possible futures. Imagine yourself under the shade of pine trees, the sound of the creek running by, sitting in circle across from other magnificent beings. We'll spend the afternoon journalling, storytelling, engaging in light movement, and connecting to ourselves and each other more meaningfully.

You'll leave with a greater undetsanding of the stories we are made of and the opportunity to co-author a new collective narrative.

*This is for femmes age 16-96 (bring the oldest and youngest you know)

YOUR HOSTS:

Raven Ray is a yoga teacher, story collector and outdoor enthusiast with a bachelors degree in Theatre and African/ African American Studies from The University of Arkansas. She teaches yoga and meditation at studios, retreats, corporate settings and private events all over the intermountain west. With a passion for infusing unbridled joy and belonging into every practice, as well as creating spaces that embrace those that do not typically feel held in western yoga, it is her hope that students are left feeling a deep sense of pleasure and connection to their bodies, with the Earth, and all living things. Raven hails from "The Natural State" of Arkansas but, currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her partner, sweet dog, and all those she consideres beloved.

May Bartlett is a facilitator, Master Certified Coach, and the curriculum lead at Solvable, with a master’s degree in East/West psychology from The California Institute of Integral Studies and an Undergraduate degree in philosophy from The University of Utah. She guides groups and individuals through the inner work needed to transform worldviews and ways of being in service of clearing new paths into the unknown to find something better for themselves, their communities, or the planet. May lives in her desert home, Salt Lake City, Utah where she was born and raised. She’s lucky to be surrounded by the love of her husband, new baby, and deep community of extended family and friends.
