Rally for Rick

For those who don’t know Rick has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. His treatment to beat this, includes many months of ongoing chemotherapy every 3 weeks, which has to be done in Brisbane.

We would love to help ease the pressures of transport costs, accommodation and all the other hidden expenses involved in fighting this horrible disease. So far Barb and family have been able to accompany Rick on his visits to Brisbane, but this obviously comes at the cost of her not being able to work. Having Barb and his kids by his side during treatments have meant the world to Rick during this shitty time.

We have come up with a fundraiser idea that has been supported by One Night Club at the Sugarland Tav. We will have a sausage sizzle outside on entry, live music, continuous raffles & auctions. Nibbles will be provided & drinks can be purchased. $10 entry fee & kids are free!

Rick is a fabulous bloke who would be there for anyone at the drop of a hat. Let’s get around him & support the big fella & his family when they need it most 💙
