Join us for a morning hike with a sweet reward: fluffy pancakes served at the historic West Point Inn on Mt. Tamalpais! This beloved tradition features a hearty, volunteer-run pancake breakfast with stunning views of the Bay Area—accessible only by trail.
Timeline:
This is a moderate-level hike with some elevation gain—perfect for casual hikers. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and pack a layer in case of morning fog.

Cost: The event is free to attend, but please bring cash for the pancake breakfast ($13 for adult portion and $8 for kids portion, blueberries are available when in season for additional $2 ). Also, please bring $8 in cash for parking at Pantoll Ranger Station.
Who can attend?: We welcome all women and girls—transgender and cisgender, as well as non-binary people. This hike is open to all ages 8+ and all skill levels - beginners are welcome! We will go at the pace that best suits our entire group. However, please note that the trail will NOT be ADA Accessible. Pre-registration is required for all attendees. Please leave your dog(s) at home.
If you need to request any accommodation(s) for the hike, please do so at checkout. We will do our best to accommodate the needs of all of our participants so everyone can enjoy the hike to the fullest with us.
After the hike, SheJumps leaders will be going for coffee nearby. Anyone interested is welcome to join us! (Please note: This portion of the event is an informal, no-host gathering – everyone will cover the cost of their own order.)
*Please note: the event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. We will let you know as late as the night before if we need to cancel due to weather conditions.
What do I need to bring? Plenty of water and snacks (provided by you), layers that you can shed if needed (moisture-wicking fabrics are best!), shoes with traction suitable for hiking (athletic sneakers, hiking shoes or boots, etc.), sunscreen, bug spray, any other hiking gear you use (poles, backpack, buff, sun hoodie, etc.). SheJumps will bring a basic first aid kit, participants should bring any life-saving Medic*tion they may need. Check the weather and temperature the day of and dress accordingly!

Parking and getting to the event: Paid parking at Pantoll Ranger Station is $8 cash, limited on weekends. Carpooling is possible, please let us know if you’re interested in this option and we can help connect you. Public transportation is available via 61 bus from Mill Valley.
Facility & accessibility information: There are gender neutral bathrooms available in the parking lots and at the West Point Inn. The trail is not an ADA trail.
