Intro to Granny Squares (crochet)

Ages: 16+

Experience: Intermediate. We recommend knowing the basics (ie. slip knots, chaining, slip stitch, double crochet). If you're just starting out, check out our Beginning Crochet class!

Materials: Included. We offer hooks to borrow and yarn to use in class. Feel free to bring your own hook or yarn if you prefer.

Learn the classic craft of crocheting granny squares!

In this hands-on workshop, crochet artist Juanita will walk you through the basic stitches and techniques to create your very first granny square. You’ll learn how to start a square, change colors, and weave in ends—everything you need to keep crocheting with confidence at home.

This class is perfect if:

- You have the basics down of crochet
- You want to learn how to make a granny square
- You’re looking for a refresher
- You want to relax and make something with your hands
