Pembrokeshire Dive Weekend: Sat 28th/Sun 29th June. Milford Haven. 2 days/4 boat dives £160 (Boat only) Advanced Open Water (Experienced UK Divers).
We are so excited to have secured a 2 day charter with Pembrokeshire Boat Charters to explore the stunning Pembrokeshire coast, smack bang in the middle of the summer🌞
We are hoping to visit some of the best dive sites this area of outstanding beauty has to offer.
We still need to arrange accommodation, but there are plenty of campsites and chalet style accom available in the area. The price quoted for the trip does not include accommodation. We will be arriving on Friday and staying Friday and Saturday night, however, if you wish to arrive on Saturday morning and stay one night, that is an option too. You will also need to budget for air fills, generally these are between £5 and £10 per fill.
Conditions allowing, dive sites will be:
The Smalls: This small reef sits right on the edge of the “Celtic Deep” which you might have seen on TV recently. The Celtic Deep is home to Humpback Whales, Orcas, Basking Sharks, Dolphins, Sunfish and Blue Sharks. Any of these amazing creatures could be spotted on the way to, or the way back from this small group of rocks which are 20 miles from the mainland.
We will be diving the Smalls reef which is guarded by a lighthouse and features Seals, huge Lobsters and Congers, Crayfish and, being this far out, amazing reefs and soft corals. Marine spotting trips visit the Celtic Deep every day, especially at this time of year…we get that trip AND get to dive as well😃👍😃
Skomer Island: Skomer is world famous for its birdlife and more specifically, its Puffins. At the time we will be there, the Puffins will be around in huge numbers as well as Manx Shearwaters, Guillemots, Fulmars and many others. Again, as well as this amazing topside life and scenery, we get to dive at this marine reserve enjoying the amazing marine life at two of the many dive sites around the island.
