OVERGROWN: Scented Geraniums Workshop

Nancy Chirdon Forster is the former owner of Nancy’s Cafe and Verde, the Italian Cooking School, in Milford. She is an avid collector of scented pelargoniums, called scented geraniums in the United States.

Scented pelargoniums, also known as scented geraniums, offer a variety of uses, including culinary applications, decorative additions, and aromatherapy. Their fragrant leaves can be used to flavor sugars, syrups, baked goods, and even savory dishes. The flowers can be candied or used to decorate desserts and drinks. Additionally, the leaves and stems can be dried for potpourri or used in floral arrangements.

Nancy will give each participant a care and propagation guide as well as some recipes.
