Motorcycle 101 with Kate Murphy

If you have ever looked at your motorcycle and wondered how your suspension works, or why some motorcycles have a chain drive and some don't, or what people mean when they say "bleed your brakes," want to know how to plug a tire in an emergency, or are just generally curious about motorcycle mechanics, this is your chance to learn all about them!



Kate has been riding motorcycles for 26 years and wrenching on them almost that long. She has worked as a professional motorcycle technician, is currently a moto-journalist with ADVRider, maintains and repairs her own bikes and others', and is a wealth of knowledge about how all the parts of a motorcycle work.
