The Jr Spartans are participating in the Milford Labor Day Parade! Cheer loud and wave back to us when we walk by!!
Hello parents,
We are thrilled to participate in the Labor Day parade! Here are the details:
Meeting Place: Milford High School at 12:15 p.m. - Look for our Blue Pop Up Tent.
Check-in: Athletes check in with a Board member or volunteer. Parents not volunteering should leave after check-in. Parents will pick up athletes at Keyes Practice Fields around 2 p.m.
Check-in Location: 100 West St, Milford, NH. Note that West St. may close. We recommend parking at 127 Elm St. or Milford Middle School and walking athletes to our float, which will be parked along West St. We are unsure of the exact location until the day of the parade!
Essentials: Ensure athletes have sunscreen, a labeled water bottle, sneakers, and blue/grey clothing (Milford Jr. Spartans Apparel preferred). Hats and sunglasses are allowed.
Parade Route: Begins at Milford High School, up West St., right on Elm St., through the oval, ending at the VFW. Chaperones and coaches will walk athletes to Keyes Practice Fields for pickup.
Check-out: At Keyes Practice Field, West Entrance, Elm Street. Pickups are due by 3 p.m. Look for a board member or volunteer.
Post-Parade: Join us for food and fun at the field after the parade! Please RSVP to our kickoff and bring an item. If you are staying for the event, you still need to check your athlete out with a board member or team parent to ensure they are returned to the right person.
