Black Children's Book Week Celebration

February 28, 2026, reading event at Barnes & Noble in Milford, CT, for "The Hugging Monster," a children's book by Felisha Bradshaw featuring siblings encountering a friendly monster that explores emotions and imagination.

Alert: In celebration of BLACK CHILDREN'S BOOK WEEK, please come out and bring the kids! Just being in attendance will shatter the myth that "Black children don't read!" Show our children that their beautiful shades of brown skin are in books and are written by people who look just like their mommas and daddies.
