August Sketch Event

The Dupont Nature Center is located just east of Milford in the Milford Neck Nature Preserve, where the Mispillion River and Cedar Creek meet the Delaware Bay. This is your opportunity to see up close the species of the Delaware Bay. The surrounding estuary habitat includes more than 130 species of fish, shellfish and other animals, and you can sketch the inhabitants of five aquariums, including a seahorse and a horseshoe crab. The osprey cam image is shown on a large screen, where this year’s babies have just fledged and are learning to fend for themselves. Make your own seashell still life from the large seashell collection. The deck offers dramatic views of the Delaware Bay. The Dupont Nature Center is usually closed on Sundays, and they are opening just for us.
