Recital: The Unquiet Heart

For my second Artist-in-Residence at St. James' Episcopal Church, I wanted to do a recital that was centered around love: sometimes in abstract or impressionist language, other times portraying happy & successful relationships, and closing the recital, the Beethoven trio depicts a relationship at its dramatic end, due to infidelity & jealousy. Featuring the music of Undine Smith Moore, Gustav Mahler, Samuel Barber, Cecile Chaminade, Ben Moore, and Ludwig van Beethoven, this exciting program will be a great way to finish the first year of my residency at St. James. Joining me for the Beethoven are the incredible soprano, Melissa Heath & my wonderful baritone-husband, Seth Kershisnik.
