Get ready for a morning of smiles, fresh air, and four-legged excitement at the Society for Animals in Distress in Midrand! Our Dog Jog takes place on Saturday, 31 May 2025, with the official walk happening from 09h00 to 12h00 – but we invite you to stay for the day and soak up the fun.
After the jog, relax on our beautiful farm grounds where picnic facilities will be available. Bring your blankets, camp chairs, and your best picnic game – and enjoy a day in the fresh country air. We’ll have fantastic food vendors, delicious drinks, and shopping goodies to keep both you and your dogs happy.
Entry is just R50 per dog and humans walk free! All proceeds go directly towards helping animals in need through our vital veterinary programs.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and must be fully vaccinated and well socialised to ensure a safe and happy day for everyone. We want to make sure all tails keep wagging – so please only bring doggos who are comfortable around people and other pets.
There will also be a bustling market with pet products, crafts, and treats for the whole family, along with fun activities for the kids. Credit card facilities will be available, so you can shop and snack with ease.
We can't wait to welcome you and your furry friends to a day of walking, wagging, and making memories – all for a truly good cause.
