RSC 2025 Boogie On the James presents "The Roaring 20's"

This year’s “Boogie on the James” party will be held on August 1st and 2nd at the DoubleTree Hilton in Midlothian, VA. Calling all “Flappers” and “Big Shots” …. Our 2025 theme is “The Roaring 20’s”!!!!!
Here’s the “Beeswax” …. Join us at the “Juice Joint” (AKA…Visions) for our “Bees Knees” Pre-party on Thursday night, July 31st for party attendees (7pm to 10pm). The “Bees Knees” Pre-party is open to non-attendees for a cover charge of $10.00. This “park & party” will continue through Friday and Saturday. Saturday night will be the night to grab your “glad rags”! Pull out those dapper threads and dolled up Flapper dresses and be the “cat’s meow”! There will be a 1920’s themed backdrop where Alan Michaelis will take your pictures as well as capture the weekend’s events! Over the weekend, we’ll enjoy two “swell” plated dinners, and four “Hooch” (drink) tickets for the “Social hour” (5pm to 6:30pm) to use as you wish during Friday and Saturday night in the “Gin Mill” (ballroom corridor) area near the registration table. And if you are “on a toot,” there will be an open cash bar each evening to have more “Giggle Juice”!

Thursday Night, we have VSHOF and ABSC DJ, Brute Vaughan playing at our “Bees Knees” Pre-party as well as on Saturday.
Friday & Saturday night, we have ABSC DJ Hall of Famers, Randal Height & Jerry Hill heating up the dance floor.
On Saturday morning, we have Beach Shaggers National HOF’er, Sam West and his wife Lisa as our “Hoofer” (dance) instructors.
Saturday afternoon, VSHOF’er, Mary Ann Lambert will teach a line dance workshop.
We will have a 50/50 raffle on both Friday and Saturday night, as well as raffling off numerous baskets. These proceeds go towards offsetting the expenses of our BOTJ event, so we appreciate your support.
We are thrilled to share that The Shoe Center from N. Myrtle Beach will be our shoe vendor this year!! We will have Fairy Hair and jewelry vendors as well!
The DoubleTree Hilton, the RSC Board, and the BOTJ Committee have put considerable effort into developing a 2025 BOTJ party that provides the most “bang for your buck”. “Get a wiggle on” …and get your tickets at $150 per person for the Weekend if bought before July 1st. After July 1st, the price of a ticket increases to $155. A Saturday only ticket is priced at $100 per person, or $105 after July 1st. Again, this year’s ticket prices are slightly higher than last year due to the continued increase in food and drink cost. Ticket sales end July 15th!
