As we close out the celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Month, we finish with painting your own alebrije!

First dreamt by a Mexican artist at the turn of the 20th century, alebrije sculptures have become a beloved form of folk art and now you have a chance to make your own. Learn the history and themes behind these cool sculptures while you custom paint your own just in time for this year's Day of the Dead celebrations.

Registration is required, and space is limited to children only.
Registration opens to Midlothian residents beginning Sept. 19; fully open to all on Oct. 11.
