Help Us Care for the Wild Space
Join our team of dedicated community members for a hands-on volunteer day in one of Midland’s most unique natural areas. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or this is your first time, we’d love to have your help maintaining the trails, gardens, and outdoor learning spaces that support habitat and education at the Preserve.
Planned Projects Include:
Trail maintenance and trimming
Seepwillow clearing
Bermuda grass weeding
Flower bed care
Litter bin placement
Outdoor classroom repairs (leveling tables, fortifying tipi, and cutting new stools)
What to Bring
We provide gloves, tools, and water refills. Wear comfortable outdoor attire.
Have tools or special skills? If you have a mower, dolly, hedge trimmer, or woodworking experience, we’d love your help—please reach out in advance.
