Pranayama is the practice of dynamic breathwork that stabilizes the mind, fills the body with vitality, reduces stress, and awakens the neuroelectric spiritual energy. It is life-enhancing for the whole being!
This class is designed to inspire you, keep you on track with your regular practice, and support your growth into the mastery of pranayama to your full capacity.
Pranayama is powerful and must be practiced correctly to receive full benefits and avoid imbalance. Libby will guide the practice and assist with form, technique, and questions. This ongoing class is best suited for those who have taken the Pranayama Workshop, or intermediate and advanced students with knowledge of pranayama. If you are unsure if this class is a good fit for you, or if you are a beginner please contact Libby to discuss before signing up. Private instruction is also available.
Libby was introduced to Ayurveda in 2009 by a friend from India and began learning this ancient wisdom through personal application. After several years of self-study, she began formal studies with Yoga Vega Institute, and The Ayurvedic Institute. Dr. Vasant Lad, Founder of The Ayurvedic Institute assessed Libby as "highly spiritual, knowledgeable, and compassionate," qualities that bring her clients from many different walks of life. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of nutrition/cooking, pranayama, meditation, daily/seasonal cycles, and more with groups and offers personal lifestyle consultations.
