Experience the great outdoor recreation opportunities that Midland has to offer! Join Little Forks Conservancy and the Friends of the Pere-Marquette Rail Trail for a bike ride from Emerson Park to Forestview Natural Area, where attendees will hike the 1.3 miles of trail before biking to Midland Brewing Company for (insert promo/discount)
What to Bring:
Proper attire for biking and hiking - including a bike helmet and closed-toed shoes. Attendees must bring their own bike.
Agenda & Route:
The bike ride begins at Emerson Park and goes to Forestview Natural Area - which is about 5 miles on Tittabawasee River Road. This road contains both paved and dirt sufaces.
Attendees will hike 1.3 miles of trail at Forestview Natural Area learning more about this nature preserve and how it's protected.
Following the hike, attendees will bike to Midland Brewing Company on the Pere-Marquette Rail Trail for about 1.8 miles for a social hour and (insert promo/discount)
Attendees will head back to Emerson Park whenever is most convenient for them following the social hour at Midland Brewing Company.
Parking & Directions:
The bike ride will begin at Emerson Park, where attendees will meet at pavilion shelter number (#) before beginning the bike ride on Tittabawassee River Road to Forestview Natural Area. The entrance to Emerson Park is located at the intersection of W Main Street and Orchard Drive. Pavilion number (#) is located on the left hand side of the drive after you enter the park.
